Ad-hoc consultations
Support and guidance
Families often value a space to make sense of and explore their child's needs with an experienced professional, who can share guidance and information. This does not need to be a regular commitment and instead can be provided on an ad-hoc basis. Families often like to be able to book appointments when issues come up for them, e.g. at transition points, such as an upcoming move to high school, or when things feel a bit difficult at home or school. This can be provided online or in person.
Support following therapy
We can also offer ad-hoc consultations following therapeutic work. Families often find ending therapy quite hard after a period of more intensive support. It is natural to worry about future transitions or anticipated issues, such as transitions to a new school or college. We are happy to offer one-off consultations as needed following a period of therapeutic work.
To arrange an initial consultation, please click the link below. We will discuss your family's needs and agree whether ad-hoc consultations might be appropriate. If we have not worked with you before, there will need to be an initial assessment before we can offer this type of support.
