Coming to see a Psychologist for the first time can be scary and confusing for a child. It can also be hard for parents to know what to tell them and how to prepare them. To make this a bit easier and less scary, we have put together some information sheets to share with your child.

The first one is about Emma, to introduce her and to share a few things about her. The second information sheet is about the sessions and what they can expect.

We have also made a short video of the therapy room. This shows the outside of the building first, and then inside the building and finally the therapy room itself. Watching this video with your child before their visit can really help them feel prepared and more confident on the day.
